Kings Beach is one of the most secluded, beautiful and “unofficial” nudist beaches in Byron … white sands, clear blue water, great body-surfing and only a 10 min drive from town. You’ll be lucky to get phone coverage on your mobile and be sure to take plenty of water, sun screen, snacks and a cooler as it can get extremely hot and local conveniences are quite a distance away.
To get to Kings from Byron Bay take the coast road south towards Ballina. After Suffolk Park about 8 kilometres out turn left to the Broken Bay Caravan Park / Beach. Just before you enter the caravan park, a narrow gravel road leads off to the right into the national park.
Keep driving up the hill until you see plenty of cars in the car area on your left and park. Note that during peak times you may have to continue driving around the mountain until you reach a free space, if this is the case you need to walk back to the car area and make your way to the end of the car park where you will find a trail on your right. Their are some steep steps on your way down to the beach and it’s quite a mini hike.
When you reach the bottom you’ll find plenty of boys and plenty of skin. it’s packed of 6 packs four times a year (guess when?).
